Dija jewelry is handcrafted from 925 sterling silver and 18k gold. Your Dija sterling silver may tarnish. The proper care, storage and cleaning of your jewelry will help maintain the appearance of your piece.
Over time the recessed areas of your piece will appear darker in contrast to the surface. This is a unique process that identifies the piece as authentically Dija.
To clean your Dija jewelry, use the included polishing cloths that are custom made for Dija jewelry. The white inner cloth is designed for cleansing and the beige outer cloth for polishing and buffing your piece. Please note: The inner white cloth is not suitable for all jewelry materials. Do not use the inner white cloth for pearls, opal, coral, diamonds, ceramic, or gemstones. Only the outer cloth is acceptable on all jewelry surfaces.
Exposure to air and humidity will increase the tarnishing of your jewelry. Store each piece separately in the suede pouch provided to avoid contact and scratching from other jewelry. To keep your Dija jewelry in its original form, use your Dija polishing cloth each time you store your piece.
